Description |
This is an exhibitor's pass or ticket for the Nineteenth Annual Automobile Show at Chicago. The card is green with white text. Across the top, underlined text reads "THIS TICKET IS NOT SUBJECT TO WAR TAX." Beneath the line, it says "NINETEENTH ANNUAL / AUTOMOBILE SHOW AT CHICAGO / EXHIBITOR'S EMPLOYEE'S CREDENTIAL / AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THE USE OF." Below this are 2 white boxes, a square to the left in which the number "404" in purple ink is written, and a rectangle ot the right of that with "Mrs. N. Andrews" written also in purple ink. Below the boxes continues more white text reading, "IN COMBINATION WITH ADMISSION TICKET. TO BE USED AT COMMERCIAL / CAR SECTION ONLY, AS INDICATED BY INSTRUCTIONS ON / BACK HEREOF." In the lower right corner, there is a printed signature and "Mgr." The back of the card spells out the guidelines, in all caps, for the use of the card: "This credential is to be used for purposes of identifi- / cation only. It is not available for admission. On leav- / ing the building the holder will exhibit his credential to / the doorkeeper and receive an admission ticket. On enter- / ing, he will exhibit the credential and deposit the admission / ticket. See extract from rules on back of ticket. If this / credential is allowed to pass into the hands of any per- / son other than the one whose signature appears hereon, / it will be taken up and will not be returned." |
