This is rank insignia for a Grand Army of the Republic reunion badge. This badge denotes that the bearer holds the rank of major in their post. The piece has a brass frame and a piece of blue wool on the front. The front has two brass leaves above the fabric. The back has a metal band to suspend the ribbon from. |
