Description |
This is a bumper sticker from one of Francis Jones Mills' campaigns for State Treasurer. It has a red background with a white oval on the left side which bears the image of a red cardinal in the middle. To the right of the oval, "Francis Jones/ Mills/ for State Treasurer" is printed in white ink. On the right end, perpendicular to the other printing, "Paid for by Friends for Francis Jones Mills/ Kenneth D. Russell, Treasurer/ 431 Menominee Trail, Frankfort, Ky. 40601" and a small Union logo are printed in small white letters. |

Frances Jones Mills, a Democrat from Kentucky, was elected State Treasurer in 1975, 1983, and 1991. She was also elected Secretary of State in 1979. |
