This is a button from the 2012 Vice-Presidential debate that was held at Centre College in Danville, KY. The button is round metal with a red, white and blue design on the front. The top third is blue with three white stars running left to right. On the far right is a white shooting star that is bigger than the other three. The middle section has a white background with the word "CENTRE" in blue letters and "DEBATE 2012" in red letters. The bottom section of the button has a white background and six red vertical stripes. There is a pin closure on the back. |

He was the Republican Party nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 2012 election. Joseph Robinette "Joe" Biden, Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is the 47th and current Vice President of the United States, jointly elected with President Barack Obama. He is a member of the Democratic Party and was a United States Senator from Delaware from January 3, 1973 until his resignation on January 15, 2009, following his election to the Vice Presidency. In 2012, Biden was elected to a second term alongside Obama. |
