Notes |
Notes indicate this hat belonged to Eudora "Dora" Davis Cogar (1884-1962), the donor's mother. Dora lived her whole life in Woodford County. Her husband, William, was sheriff of Woodford County in the 1930s, a landowner, and horsebreeder. They had two sons, James and Joseph. She lived at Fawn Leap Farm outside Midway at the time of her death. |
