Description |
This is a resonator for a mine detector. It is a round metal box with holes in the front. There is a canvas strap with a quick connect snap for attachment to a belt or a pack harness. A rubber insulated cord extends from the box and terminates in a 1/4 inch audio plug. The plug attaches to an amplifier. The box houses a speaker and is olive drab green. |
Notes |
Donor purchased this item at a surplus sale at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The type of detector set is common for late WWII, but in its current configuration suggests it was used up to and during the Korean War. |
