Description |
This ribbon badge is from the 54th National Encampment in Louisville, KY. The badge consists of a nameplate and from that is suspended a ribbon. The nameplate is brass and has a paper tag insert that reads, "GUS KURZ / GUEST". The ribbon is half red and half yellow and in gold lettering reads, "GUEST / 54TH NATIONAL / ENCAMPMENT / UNITED / SPANISH WAR / VETERANS / LOUISVILLE, KY. / AUG. 24 - 28 / 1952". Near the center of the ribbon, also in gold, is the emblem of the USWV. On the reverse of the nameplate it reads, "B.B.CO. / ROCH.N.Y." |
