This is a NCAA Final Four poster from the Meadowlands. It is bordered on the sides by rows of basketballs that contain NCAA team names. The background on bottom shows New York City. The central Image is of basketball players mid-game with a referee and the NCAA Final Four logo with Statue of Liberty featured. In white lettering it reads: "UK National Champions / Kentucky 76 Syracuse 67 / MVP Tony Delk." |

The 1995-1996 Kentucky Wildcat men's basketball team won the NCAA championship game against Syracuse at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Finishing with an overall record of 34-2, the team was undefeated in conference play, leading to the nickname "The Untouchables." Nine players eventually played professional basketball in the NBA. Rick Pitino coached the team. Collected by the McGurk family. |
