This is a metal fluting iron with brass rollers. It has iron parts and wooden handle. It is missing its stand. There are two metal rods/weights inside the rollers. |

During the late 18th and early 19th century, a fluting iron, also called a crimper, was used to add fashionable shapes to cuffs, collars, hemlines, and other trim. |
