This is a souvenir plastic cup commemorating University of Kentucky football. These cups were sold at concessions stand in Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky. It depicts a football field in the background and has Kentucky Wildcats written on the field. The foreground features a football coming through a circle that reads "Air Raid '98 Reload." |

The 1998 Kentucky Wildcat men's football team finished with a record of 7-4 under coach Hal Mumme. The team ran the "Air Raid offense" largely started by Mumme. The Wildcats would play in the OutBack Bowl in Tampa, losing 26-14 to the Penn State Nittany Lions. Collected by the McGurk family. |
