This is a University of Kentucky football hand fan. It is shaped like a blue football helmet with white lettering. The top of the helmet has white letters which jut out in a three dimensional way from a football field drawn behind them. These letters read "Air Raid '99." Under this is a football with the initials "UK" in its center. More white lettering across the football field reads "The Next Mission." Under this is diagonal text that reads "Go Cats." The fan has a wooden handle attached to the back and the back of the fan is plain white. |
Notes |
The 1999 Kentucky Wildcats football team finished their season 6-6 under head coach Hal Mumme. The team ran the "Air Raid offense" largely started by Mumme. The Wildcats would play in the Music City Bowl, losing to Syracuse 13-20. |
