Description |
This is a coin from the Capitol Medals, Inc. States of the Union medals series. This coin/medal is made of oxidized bronze. The obverse features the Georgia state capitol building in the center with an inscription around the edges that reads: "GEORGIA STATE CAPITOL/ ATLANTA." Beneath the image of the capitol bulding it reads "CAPITOL MEDALS/ 1966." The reverse depicts the Georgia state seal which depicts an archway with three columns. The arch reads "CONSTITUTION" and a banner that weaves around the columns reads "WIS/ DOM/ JUSTICE/ MODER/ ATION." The inscription around the edges reads "STATE OF GEORGIA/ 1776." |
