Description |
This is a set of World War II era notched dog tags for William Chescheir and a Fort Benning identification badge for his wife. The piece has a beaded aluminum chain with 4 rectangular shaped notched dog tags (two aluminum and two made of aluminum colored to look like brass). There is also a key marked "CHICAGO/ LOCK CO" and a P-38 can opener on the chain. The last item on the chain is an U.S. Army identification badge for Mrs. Cheschier with a photograph in the center and marked "FORT BENNING, GEORGIA/ U.S. ARMY/ 45200." |
