Description |
This is a set of 73 printing blocks that were used to create a publication titled "Confederate Portrait Album." Sixty of the printing blocks are made of a rectangular wooden block with a metal face plate featuring head shots of several Civil War era officers. There are 10 smaller blocks with head shots of soldiers. There is one larger block that depicts what appears to be a woman in full mourning attire as well as two larger blocks with images of houses or building. |

See MSS 111, United Daughters of the Confederacy Collection in the archival collection. This is part of a collection of United Daughters of the Confederacy records and memoribilia was given to the Kentucky Historical Society by Mary Ann Willis. |
