Description |
This is a celluloid type political button that was created for the Kentucky delegate to the Democratic National Convention in support of Paul Patton, Bill Clinton and Al Gore. The button features a white background with a blue ribbon at the top and a red ribbon on the bottom. In the middle of the button there are three photos with Paul Patton on the proper right, Bill Clinton in the middle and Al Gore on the proper left. The button also has three stars on the upper portion; a red star in the middle and two blue stars, one on each side of the button. The text of the button is printed in blue, white and red, with each line in a different color. The inscription reads, "KENTUCKY'S FORMULA FOR SUCCESS / "PATTON"TED / GOVERNOR PRESIDENT VICE PRES. / PAUL PATTON BILL CLINTON AL GORE / DELEGATE / 1996 / DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION". The back is made of tinplate and has a safety pin style closure. |
