Description |
This is a 1960 John F. Kennedy presidential campaign plastic-wrapped cardboard flasher button with a dual-image reflector and red plastic trim. On the front is the first image which is a black and white bust photo of John F. Kennedy. There appears to be a white or gold star inside of a white or gold circle at the top which is visible on both images. The second image consists of a white or gold bar approximately 1 1/8" wide with the word "Kennedy" in black text. Across the bottom black bar are the words in white text "For/President". There is a red plastic rim around the button approximately 3/8" wide. The back of the button consists of a white background with an image of a donkey and three stars in black in the middle at the top. Under that are the words "Vote/Democratic/Cine-Vue/Yonkers, N.Y./Maker's Mark 1Y" all in black text. |
