Description |
This is a World War II field desk used by General Field Harris. It is a large wooden crate, olive drab in color, with red half circles and "Field Harris" painted on each side. It has two compartments, the upper one is a drop front desk top, with chains on the sides. The inner compartment has areas for files. The lower compartment consists of three shelves. Both are closed with hasps. There are rope handles at the top and bottom, as well. |
