Description |
This is an U.S. Army Air Corps A 2 jacket. It is a leather jacket with a zipper closure. It has woven cotton cuffs and waist and there are snap pockets. There are leather Colonel eagles, CBI patch, Air Corps patch, and leather Air Transport Command patch on the left breast. There is a silk panel in the back with printed U.S., Chinese, and British blue ensign with peacock flags. There is also Chinese and Indian script requesting aid for Allied Flyers. There are three seperate panels, one for each nationality. The Chinese panel is somewhat crested. |
