Description |
This is a button from the 1936 Republican presidential ticket of Alf Landon and Frank Knox. The button is brown and has a yellow sunflower in the middle with the words "Landon and Knox" in the middle of the sunflower. Above the sunflower is the word "Young", and below the word "Republican." All the words are also printed in yellow. The button was printed using the lithographic process and has a stickpin on the back. Landon was from Kansas and suffered one of the greatest defeats of any candidate ever. |
