Description |
This is a celluloid type political button that endorses Al Gore. The button has a white background with a horizontal orange stripe across the bottom of the button. The inscription is in orange lettering on the white background and white lettering on the orange stripe. The button reads as, "Al's / PALS / The Gore Corps." Beneath the stripe there is a union label for the Allied Printing Trades Union. The back of the button has a safety pin style closure. |

Al Gore, Senator from Tennessee, was a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and 1992. He became Bill Clinton's running mate and was elected vice president in 1992 and 1996. |
