Description |
This is a delegate pin from the 1960 Republican State Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The top of the pin is a metal frame with a plastic insert that says, "DELEGATE". Below this is a blue ribbon attached to a medallion in the shape of the state of Indiana. Across the top it reads, "Republican / State Convention". Below this is a picture of an elephant in front of a blue orb with a blue ribbon reading "Indianapolis" below it. "1960" is printed at the bottom of the medallion. The back of the medal features three stamps that are illegible. There are three marks on the back of the medal cut as Indiana. The first one is circular with "I.J.W.U" across the top, "No." a diamond, and "9". At the bottom it says "Un(illegible) Made." The middle stamp is circular with a square cut out of the top, and "I M E U" in the center. The third is the shape of a shield with "M P B" at the top, and "P(illegible) at the bottom. |
