Description |
This is a circular lithographed metal political button for the presidential campaign of Richard Nixon in 1972. The button has a white background with navy blue and red lettering. Above the midline in navy blue is "PRESIDENT" and across the middle in red is "NIXON" with the O as the symbol for female (mirror of Venus) and a navy blue equal (=) sign in the center of the O. Around the curled edge is navy blue lettering that reads "COADCO union bug (illegible) FIN COMM TO RE ELECT THE PRES / PAUL BARRICK TREAS 1701 PENN. AVE. N.W. WASH. D.C." A stick pin is attached to the back. |
