Latest patent number from 1929. From the home of Louise Moss (1904-2002) and Ollie Leonard Chesher (1899-1952) at 420 Oxford Place in Louisville. Louise Chesher was a bookkeeper and personal secretary for the J.F. Pilcher Manufacturing Company. Ollie Chesher was a security officer for the Railway Mail Company. They built the house at Oxford Place, a streetcar suburb, in 1933. They had three children: Ollie Jr., Laverne, and Avanell. |
