Description |
This is a white and gold package of "Piedmont Cigarettes", on the front of the package there is a gold circle in the center with a figure inside, above the circle written in black and outlines in gold the package reads; "Piedmont", below the circle in the same font the package reads; "Cigarettes/ Manufactured By Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. Reg. U.S. PAT. OFF.". On the back of the package there is a label that reads; "Piedmont Cigarettes Are Made Of Ripe Tobacco Which Have Been Selected For Sweetness Mildness And Fragrance. Quality." On the side of the package there is a label that reads; "Factory No. 25 District of Virginia-Notice The manufacturer of the Cigarettes herein contained has complied with all requirements of law. Every person is cautioned not to use either this package for Cigarettes again or the stamp thereon again nor to remove the contents of this package without destroying said stamp under the penalties provided by law in such cases." |
