Description |
These boots are made of stiff dark brown leather. They are high enough to cover the lower calf. They have black rubber soles which are smooth. The brown cotton laces are threaded through four eye holes for the lacing one each side and have six of hooks above on each side. |

These boots were worn by Alex Cuthbertson in the Korean War in the Battle of Chosin Resevoir. The Mr. Cuthbertson was the owner of the company, Venus Manufacturing Co., Utica, Michigan which manufactured Von Wimmersberg Machine pistols. Several of these are in the Kentucky Historical Society's collection. |
