Description |
The crown of this baseball cap is constructed of six triangle panels of royal blue wool. They are stitched together with matching thread. At the top, where the tip of the triangles meet, is a button coverd in white wool felt. It is attached to the interior with a metal rivet. On the front panel of the hat, "KY / 34" made of white wool felt has been applied with white thread. The bill is short and narrow and is deeper in the center then tapers to each side. The bill has internal stiffening and has three rows of stitches in matching blue thread. The interior of the hat has a medium brown leather band around the edge. Inside the crown is white cotton tape used to reinforce the seams of the panels that make up the crown. |
