Description |
This is a light aqua colored glass flask bottle. There is an image of an eagle with banner, shield, and "Pittsburg, PA." on one side, and "Union", over a shield with clasped hands in the upper part of the shield and "L.F. & Co" in a lozenge shaped area in the lower part, on the other side. It was blown into a two-piece mold and has a thin applied lip and a ground off pontil mark. |

In 1868-69, Henry Clay Fry of Lexington, Kentucky partnered with Jesse H. Lippincott as glass manufacturers, initially called Lippincott, Fry & Company in Pittsburgh. The company was out of business by 1870. |
