This is a round metal pinback button with a safety pin enclosure. It has a window for a piece of paper so the name of the wearer can show through. The paper reads "EWERT W. ELLIOT/SEAL, MACABI". The button has a dark blue and white background. The dark blue background forms a ring around the perimeter of the button and contains white text that reads: "U.S. SUBMARINE VETERANS WWII/N.C. REGIONAL CONVENTION". The white background has a symbol of the organization at the top, the paper containing the identification information in the middle, and a black and white image of Lincoln at the bottom. Below the image of Lincoln, there is dark blue text that reads "LINCOLN, ILL 1981". |
