Description |
This is an envelope with two souvenir coins from the 50th Anniversary Program, Grand Buffet, and Dance held at the Franklin County Post 4075 VFW on April 7, 1995. The white envelope has black text printed at the front with a black and white Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States log on the left side of the text. Directly to the right of the logo, the address for the post is printed: "Franklin County Post 4075 / VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS / 104 E. SECOND STREET – P.O. BOX 72 / FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY 40602." The number 29 is written to the lower right of the address. Below the address of the posts, information regarding the event is printed: "This is your ticket to / V.F.W. POST 4075’s / 50th ANNIVERSARY PROGRAM / GRAND BUFFET and DANCE / April 7, 1995 6:00 p.m." Inside the envelope, there is a piece of yellow card stock with black text printed on the center of it that reads, "Your souvenir coin may be exchanged / for a beverage at the bar." There are two brass plated tokens taped below the text on the card. The coins each have a raised edge with a raised V.F.W. logo on one side and raised text on the opposite side that reads, "FRANKLIN COUNTY VFW POST 4075 / 50th / ANNIVERSARY / APRIL 15, 1995." |
