Description |
This is a circular celluloid process political button from Robert F. Kennedy's 1968 campaign to become the Democratic Presidential Candidate. It is white with four stars across the top, "R For K" across the middle, and "President", below that, all printed in blue. The button has a stick pin closure on the back. Along the edge of the button, the maker's information from the Emress Specialy Co. is printed in blue text. |

Robert F. Kennedy was a Naval Veteran of WW II, Congrssman and Senator from Massachusetts, Attorney General under his brother John F. Kennedy and 1968 Presidential contender. He was murdered the night he won the California Primary. |
