Notes |
This was confiscated by Captain John Holmes from an Iraqi detainee at Abu Griab prison in Bucca, Iraq. The detainee created it from found materials in the prison. Captain Holmes commanded A Battery 1st/623rd Field Artillery from Tompkinsville, Ky., which was deployed in support of Iraqi Freedom from January 2005 to December 2005. In May the unit was assigned to Abu Graib prison where they worked for the Military Police processing and guarding 5000 detainees. |
