Description |
This is a World War II era United States Army Military Police armband. It is a made out of a rectangular piece of navy blue wool felt fabric. White wool felt letters that read "M P" are machine stitched to the center of the armband. The edges of the navy blue felt are folded over and stitched in place with navy thread to create a hem. |

This belonged to Reva (Hayden) Hopkins (November 2, 1914 - August 12, 1997). Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of L. D. and Lillie Hayden. Reva enlisted in the Women's Army Corps on December 18, 1943. Her name at the time of her enlistment was Reva Hatchell. |
