Description |
These are two stickers on one strip of wax paper and were created for the re-election campaign of Jim Bunning. They have solid blue backgrounds with white text that reads, "RE-ELECT / JIM / BUNNING / CONGRESS." The name Bunning is bold and stands out in the middle of the stickers. There are two red lines that underline "RE-ELECT" and the "BUNN" in "BUNNING" on each sticker; the upper line starts at "JIM" and continues to the right edge while the lower line starts at the left edge and continues to "CONGRESS." Along the lower left edges there is small white text that reads, "Paid For By Citizens For Bunning." |
Notes |
The items in this collection were gathered by the KHS staff in 1994 in an attempt to get campaign items from all of the members of the 1994 Kentucky General Assembly. According to a letter to the members of the assembly from Dr. Klotter, the staff had noticed a gap in the political collection in the area of state legislative campaign memorabilia. The members of the assembly were asked to donate one campaign item. Many did not donate anything and others donated several items. This object was donated by Jim Bunning. |
