Description |
This pen and ink sketch depicts a road lined with trees and a stone fence. The Devil's Hollow bridge is in the middle of the etching and there is a river in the left background of the etching that can be seen over the stone wall. The trees, with a wooden fence in the background, appear to the right side of the sketch. There are buildings also in the left background across the river. The artist's name, "Paul Sawyier" is written in pencil in the lower right corner, under the sketch. |
