This is an emery board fingernail file. The side with the fine grit has "VOTE FOR" on the left side, "WALTER GEE / STATE REPRESENTATIVE" in the middle and "Your Vote / Needed" on the right, all printed in blue on a white background. The coarse grit side is plain and brown. |

The items in this collection were gathered by the KHS staff in 1994 in an attempt to get campaign items from all of the members of the 1994 Kentucky General Assembly. According to a letter to the members of the assembly from Dr. Klotter, the staff had noticed a gap in the political collection in the area of state legislative campaign memorabilia. The members of the assembly were asked to donate one campaign item. This object was donated by Rep. Walter Gee. |
