Description |
This is a circular celluloid process political button for the presidential campaign of Harry Truman and Alben Barkley in 1948. The button has a white background with two oval black and white photos of Harry Truman in the upper right and Alben Barkley in the lower left beneath a waving red, white and blue American flag. There is red lettering in the lower right area that reads "TRUMAN/ and BARKLEY". There are four dark blue stars on the upper left edge and 10 dark blue stars on the lower right edge. There is a stick pin attached to the back of the button. |
