This is a wooden measuring cup. It is turned from one piece of wood and has a pouring spout. It has a strap handle with wooden grip and metal flanges. |
Notes |
This wooden measure could be used as a scoop in a grocery to measure out bulk goods or to measure ingredients in cooking. Wood was a popular and inexpensive choice for kitchenware in the 19th century which fell out of favor in the 20th. |
