Description |
This is a token used in place of money at the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). It is a round plastic coin/token with a color image of a soldier giving a shot to a small child. The child has a pacifier in its mouth. There is an inscription printed in white. On the reverse there is a blue background with an inscription in white. |
Notes |
These tokens were among the materials gathered by the Kentucky National Guard to give to soldiers before they were deployed to Afghanistan. These materials were received by the KANG after the troops had already deployed but they are representative of the materials the troops did receive. |
