Description |
This is a plaster model of the Greensburg, Kentucky Courthouse, made through a Works Progress Administration project. It is white rectangular building with two stories and three chimneys. The words, "Old Court House Greensburg, Kentucky" are on the front edge. The model is at a 1/8" to 1' scale. |
Notes |
In 1934-35, the Works Progress Administration proposed a project to produce architectural models of historic buildings for museums and schools to provide employment for artists and art teachers. Around 28 of these models were produced of KY sites. |
