Description |
This is a white flip top package of "Rothman's" cigarettes, there is a blue oval banner through the center of the package with a gold coat of arms at the top of the banner with a red center. On the back of the package there is a cigarette tax stamp from Canada. On the side of the package there is a label that states; "Warning: The Department of National Health and Welfare advises that danger to health increases with amount smoked." Then below this label there is another where this is translated into French. |

The donor's husband operated Shelbyville Tobacco & Candy from 1933-1991, a tobacco wholesaling business. He collected cigarette packages and displayed them in the business. |
