Description |
This is a plastic button in support of the of the 1988 presidential Democratic primary candidates. It has a white background with blue and red text with small blue stars separating the names of the candidates. The text reads from top to bottom: "*BIDEN * BABBIT * / * DUKAKIS * / I WAS THERE... / DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ON / FIRINGLINE / WORTHAM CENTER / HOUSTON, TEXAS / JULY 1, 1987 / * JACKSON * SIMON * / * GEPHARDT * GORE *". There is also an outline of the state of Texas in the center of the button. The outer edge of the button is white, but there is a blue outer ring that encircles all of the text on the button. There is also an inscription on the back of the button below the safety pin enclosure that reads, "SPIRIT LINE INC. / DALLAS, TEXAS / NAT. 1-800-527-4499 / TX. 1-800-442-4777." |
