She has beads in hair, a lacy black choker with cameo, and a low cut bodice with lace trim. She is wearing gloves and holds handkerchief. Carlotta Patti (1835-1889) was an Italian soprano who made her American debut in 1861. Library Hall was located in Louisville, Ky. This poster was found with many others in the attic of the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, Ky. |
