Description |
This cotton is a "Snail's Trail", "Monkey Wrench" or "Indian Puzzle" pattern. It is constructed of 30 blocks (five across and six down) that are about 12 inches square. The squares have light turquoise green and white triangles alternating in each corner with each set of triangles being small than the previous set. The piecing seems to be machine sewn. The quilt has a two color border: a 2 ½ inch light turquoise border on the outside and a three inch border on the inside. The backing is plain white. There is a light layer of batting. The hand sewn quilting is a simple square pattern on the borders and parallel lines on each triangle except the largest triangles which have a three leaf pattern. The edging is narrow white cotton binding tape. |
