Description |
This theater poster features a full length lithograph portrait of Madame Adelaide Ristori as Queen Elizabeth. He is turned to left. He has very short hair and is clean shaven. He is a rotund man with double chin. She is wearing she is wearing a royal gown with many button doing down her skirt in two lines. She has a star or flower hair decoration atop her head. Below the image is "MME ADELAIDE RISTORI AS QUEEN ELIZABETH." At the bottom a billing sheet has been added which is inscribed billing, "MACAULEY'S THEATRE! / TWO NIGHTS AND SATURDAY MATINEE, / FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, / NOV. 28 AND 29." |
