Description |
This full-stock rifle has a heavy hexagonal barrel bored to 52 caliber. The nose cap is made of brass. The lock plate, three ramrod pipes, trigger guard, and two-piece butt plate are all made of iron, but are painted gold to look like brass. The ramrod and front sight are missing. It appears that the barrel mat have been painted gold as well. The stock has been broken and repaired. The repairs consist of screws and an iron strap wrapped around the stock and tacked into place. There is a brass cross inlaid on the left side on the butt stock. The lock plate is stamped 'Goulcher.' |
