Description |
This is a circular celluloid process metal political button for the unsuccessful presidential campaign of Bob Kerrey in 1992. The button has a green background with a white silhouette of the United States in the mid section. Over the silhouette there is a black and white photo of Kerrey. Above the silhouette there is white lettering that reads "KERREY" and below is white lettering that reads "FOR PRESIDENT 1992" Between the silhouette and the lettering below is a white unreadable union printers label. A safety pin closure is attached to the back of the button. |

Joseph Robert "Bob" Kerrey was the 35th Governor of Nebraska from 1983 to 1987 and as a United States Senator from Nebraska from 1989 to 2001. He ran an unsuccessful campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1992. |
