Description |
This is a pair of Army Special Forces desert combat boots. They have worn rubber soles and leather lowers. The uppers are made of cotton canvas trimmed in leather. There are four round brass eyelets painted tan and ten brass easy lace hook style eyelets painted tan. The boots have tan cotton shoe strings. The uppers have reinforced ankles. |

Sgt. Peter M. Angelove from La Grange, KY served in the West Virginia National Guard 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne). The 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) was deployed to Afghanistan on the 12th of December 2001. This deployment was part of the operations in Afghanistan following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on September 11, 2001. |
