Description |
This is a khaki cotton webbing belt with a single row of grommets along the front to adjust the size of the belt. The back layer of the belt has small slits in the fabric to allow for metal hooks from pouches and other gear to be secured to the belt. The front is secured with a metal hook closure. |

This piece was acquired by the 223rd MP Company, part of the 401st stationed at Prisoner of War Camp also known as the "East Camp." The items were taken from Kuwait City within the first week after liberation from bunkers by 223rd. The 223rd was there from January 26 to May 26, 1991 during the Gulf War. |
