Description |
This painting depicts a landscape with a house and several outbuildings. The main building is a red house with a stone foundation. The outbuildings and another house are to the right. A stone fence is in the lower half of the picture along the field. A wooden gate is in the fence line. |

Arthur Jones in his 1976 book, 'The Art of Paul Sawyier,' said that this was commissioned by Dr. J. Leslie Davis of Philadelphia, PA in October 1916. |
