Notes |
In 1934-35, the Works Progress Administration proposed a project to produce architectural models of historic buildings for museums and schools to provide employment for artists and art teachers. The models were made for around 28 Kentucky sites as well as other early sites in United States history. Three complete sets of the Historic Models were made at a 1/8" to 1' scale and distributed to museums. |
